Great people to deal with. Very knowledable and prepared to share their knowledge even when its not going to make them money.
I spoke to them about an issue with my 2017 Model S P100 which was reporting low power and on occasions the range would drop when driving to a point I could not rely on the car.
I spoke to Tesla and was told I needed a new battery and would have to spend close to €17,000
On the Tesla Owners Facebook Page I was advised to contact Teslary which i did and I explained my issue. They replied quickly and asked me a lot of questions and gave me a number of potential reasons for the problem. They also provided a contact in Norway to specialised in repairing batteries which was very helpful.
They also advised me to have the Tesla lifted onto a car lift and to check the seals on the battery and it was there I first saw the problem which was a perished seal that had allowed moisture into one of the battery compartments.
I sent photos to the company in Norway who gave me a list of parts I needed which came to €60 including shipping to Ireland. The parts arrived and Jason from Teslary both talked me through the repair and sent written descriptions which made the repair easy for me. I am myself an electrician so I was able to understand and deal with more than your average tesla owner but I expect even without being an electrician this repair was possible. The repair all in all cost me less than €60 and my Tesla S P100 is back to 100% and has been for almost 3 months.
The knowledge given to be by Jason at Tesla was invaluable and he was able to explain what I needed to know is simple English and when I needed something translated I was able to go back to him.
I saved almost €17,000 by taking advice from Teslary who clearly have extensive knowledge and a list of other experienced people in their little black book.
If you have an issue with your Tesla speak to Teslary before giving up.
